Our activities center around preservation, education, history and entertainment of the exciting Art Deco Era. The best part of being a member of SADS is socializing with other “Decophiles” and sharing in the joy of supporting the preservation of an important part of history. Enjoying and recreating the Art Deco lifestyle is what makes a SADS event!

SADS’ annual Holiday Gala is the climax of our year’s activities. Each December we celebrate the ambiance of the Deco era, partake of fanciful food and drink and enjoy entertainment of period music. This is also the opportunity to bid on fabulous treasures at the silent auction!
Our Lecture Series is held regularly at the East Lawn Memorial Park in its renovated 1926 Art Deco building at 43rd and Folsom Blvd. The lectures include a wide range of topics: architecture, movies, design, fashion, music, art, vintage cars, book authors and more!
