SADS Preservation Chair, Bruce Marwick, commemorated the Society’s approaching 25th Anniversary at Sacramento’s 25th Chalk It Up! art and music festival. The event occurs during the very warm Labor Day weekend, but the results are very cool.

The Capital Decades Series at the Sacramento Central Library hosted a 1940s Fashion Show narrated by Doreen Sinclair, SADS President.
Day and Evening wear were modeled by a lovely group of volunteers, including Amanda Graham, a Certified Archivist for the Sacramento Room and the Library’s hostess for the Fashion Show.
